The World on a String is a show in which America's musical past is brought to life in an informative and entertaining narrative by virtuoso Doug Mattocks.
An extensive and varied career has molded Doug Mattocks into a perfect blend of musicianship and showmanship. His credits include writing, producing, and performing for not only the Disney Organization, but also major Performing Arts Associations throughout the United States and Canada. Doug has played the main rooms at The Desert Inn and Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas as well as Harrah's in Lake Tahoe. He has also shared the stage for many years with comedian Jerry Van Dyke, star of the hit TV series, "Coach". Doug has also performed in countless corporate functions and headlined the biggest festivals in both the "Country / Bluegrass" arenas, and the "Traditional Jazz" world.
